Swifts - a Talk with Lynda Huxley of Swift Conservation Ireland

Swifts - a Talk with Lynda Huxley of Swift Conservation Ireland In-Person / Online

Join us in the library for a talk about the fascinating world of swifts with Lynda Huxley of Swift Conservation Ireland.

The swift is on the Red list of birds of conservation concern in Ireland because its population has declined by over 40% in the last 25 years or more.  Conservation actions across the country are helping to recover populations. This fascinating talk will explore the world of swifts, their presence in the west of Ireland, and what can be done to support them.

This is a hybrid event taking place in-person at ATU Library Galway Dublin Road. ATU staff and students are welcome to listen in online (please select the Event URL below to register). All are welcome.
