Lunchtime talk: Powering Progress: Exploring the History of ESB, a talk by ESB Archives In-Person
Join us in the Dublin Road library for a talk on the electrification of Ireland, the history of the ESB and the Turlough Hill Power Station to coincide with the Turlough Hill Power Station exhibition in ATU Library Galway, Dublin Road. This pumped storage power station was the largest civil engineering project in Ireland at the time of its completion in the 1970s.
All are welcome - no registration required for in-person attendance.
This lunchtime talk will also be shared via Teams for those unable to attend in person
